Dr. Ronna Smith-Craig

Dr. Ronna Smith-Craig perfectly embodies the central philosophy of Craig Counseling Services. She believes therapy should be a positive experience which creates meaningful behavioral change and tangible symptom relief. Clients cite her warm, caring, straightforward manner, solution-focused approach and helpful insights as the qualities that set her apart from others. Dr Smith-Craig firmly believes in meeting her patients where they’re at and tailoring her treatment to the individual’s needs and expectations. In this way, Dr. Smith-Craig and her patients collaborate in the exploration of potential solutions and devise workable, effective plans for reaching their goals.

Dr. Smith-Craig is a fully licensed clinical psychologist who practices in Birmingham, Michigan. She sees adults, adolescents and children who may be experiencing troubling symptoms or challenging life issues. She takes a whole-body approach to dealing with patient’s mental health and well-being.

Dr. Smith-Craig has presented at local conferences on topics such as women’s health and parenting issues. She has also made several appearances on local television. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and her doctorate in psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology.  She has practiced in Birmingham since 1998.
